We have been considering how to make our income more sustainable to allow us to continue to offer our free youth workshops.
So we have done some research and believe a Paint Your Own Pottery Enterprise in the Balla hub could be successful. We could open it to the public with all profits being invested into our free community activities. We believe it would be a fun indoor activity for locals and tourists and we would be able to offer children’s parties and group events.
We hope it would enable us to be less reliant on funding and maintain both our Kinlochleven and Ballachulish premises! We would continue all our current free youth workshops and aim to increase our services for the local community.
We have looked into the costings and we need £3000 to start up so we have decided to do a kickstarter to try and raise funds.
